This page explains how VendIQ protects your shop data with automatic backups, retention practices and restore options.

What we back up

We back up the business data you enter into VendIQ: products, inventory, bills, customers, udhaar ledgers, staff records and account settings. Backups do not include data stored locally on your device unless it has already synced to our servers.

Backup frequency

VendIQ performs automatic cloud backups on a daily basis. Critical data changes are also written to redundant storage as they happen, so your records remain consistent and recoverable.

Retention period

Daily backups are retained for 30 days. This gives you a rolling window to recover from accidental deletion, device loss or other issues without losing meaningful history.

Restore process

If you need to restore data, contact us at noreply@vendiq.in. We will verify your identity and shop ownership before performing any restore to protect your data from unauthorised access.

Infrastructure & reliability

Backups are stored on trusted cloud infrastructure with built-in redundancy. Data is replicated across multiple locations to guard against hardware failures and keep the service available.

Your responsibility

While VendIQ handles automatic backups, we encourage you to keep your own records where required by law or business practice. You can also export your data to CSV at any time from within the app.
